Who runs the Vertaislaina24 listings board
Vertaislaina24.fi is a private-individuals’ loan listings board — a place where people publish their own loan requests and offers and find each other. We are not a bank, lender or credit intermediary. On this page we explain honestly who we are, how the board and support work, and the principles we follow.

Service provider
The board is operated by NET Partner OÜ — an Estonian company that has worked on web projects since 2007. We are a small independent team from Narva; we build and run this platform, its support and all of its content ourselves. There is no bank or loan office behind us — that matters, because it keeps the board impartial.

What we do
- Run a listings board where private individuals can publish loan requests and offers.
- Moderate listings and block obvious fraud and spam.
- Explain risks, costs and laws honestly — so both sides decide with open eyes.
- Charge a one-time fee for publishing a listing (see Pricing).
What we do NOT do
- We do not grant loans and do not broker them — we are not a lender or credit intermediary.
- We do not assess anyone’s creditworthiness and run no background checks.
- We do not move money between the parties and do not hold it — the deal happens directly between them.
- We do not sign loan agreements and are not liable for the outcome of a deal.
- We are not an exchange or an auction — just a board where a listing can be posted.
How the board works
- 1Publish a listing
Describe how much and on what terms you want to borrow or offer. For borrowers the first 5 listings are free, then a one-time fee via Stripe.
- 2The other party gets in touch
Interested people see your listing on the board and leave their email. Your phone number stays hidden — you decide whom to open your contacts to. We do not step into the conversation.
- 3You agree directly
Terms, contract and money flow are entirely between the parties. We recommend a written loan agreement and caution — never pay anything up front.
Support and management
The same small team that built the board also runs it and helps users. We do not outsource support and do not sell your data — management stays in one place and transparent.
- 💬Support requests from the cabinet. When signed in you can open a ticket right in your cabinet — the whole thread and our replies stay in one place.
- ✉️Email. You can always write to info@vertaislaina24.fi. We reply on weekdays (Mon–Fri), usually within 48 hours.
- 🔑Passwordless sign-in. We use a one-time magic link to your email — we store no passwords at all.
- 🧾Clear billing. Payments run through Stripe as a one-time fee per listing. No hidden subscriptions or fees — prices are always on the pricing page. A 14-day right of withdrawal applies where relevant.
- 🛡️Your data stays in your control. You can edit or close your listing and request deletion of your data at any time — see the privacy policy.
Who the board may help
General examples of typical situations — not a sales pitch, just a picture of who uses the board and why.
- People who want to agree on a loan directly with the other party, without middlemen, and negotiate the terms themselves.
- Private individuals who want to lend their own money deliberately and in a diversified way, against a written agreement.
- Small, one-off needs where the parties assess the risk themselves and put the terms in writing.
- Those who first want to compare and understand — read guides and calculate the total cost before deciding.
Who it is NOT for — when to stop
- If you already have payment difficulties or a debt spiral — a new loan will not fix it. Turn to free debt counselling instead.
- If you are not sure you can repay — do not take a loan. The board does not assess your ability to pay for you.
- If you are looking for a “guaranteed” loan with no terms or checks — we grant no loans and guarantee nothing.
- If you are asked to pay up front for “processing” or “collateral” fees before a loan — that is a sign of fraud. Do not pay.
- For professional or ongoing lending as a business — that requires registration with the Financial Supervisory Authority (Act 186/2023).
Editorial principles
Alongside the board we publish guides and explainers about borrowing. Because money is involved, we keep the content honest and checked. Our principles:
- 01Sources are public and verifiable. We rely on Finnish law — the Contracts Act (228/1929), Interest Act (633/1982), Promissory Notes Act (622/1947), Act 186/2023 — and on the public information of the Financial Supervisory Authority and Finlex, not on rumours.
- 02Risks written honestly. We do not sugar-coat borrowing. If something is expensive, risky or limited by law, we write it plainly.
- 03No made-up reviews. We publish no fake stars or ordered “feedback”. If something is not yet verified, we say so.
- 04Independence. The board belongs to no loan office, so we do not steer anyone toward the “right” lender. We show the options and explain — the decision is the reader’s.
- 05Updated content. Laws and the market change; we mark the last-updated date on pages and fix outdated information.
The full legal position and all statute references are on the Legal status page.
Responsible borrowing
The existence of the board is not a call to take a loan. Reading, publishing or considering a loan option makes no one a debtor — it is just information and a choice. Our stance is simple:
- Borrow only what you are sure you can repay.
- Before agreeing, calculate the total cost, not just the monthly payment — use the calculator.
- Put the agreement in writing — see the loan-agreement template.
- If you lend to someone else, be prepared that the money may not come back — lend only what you can afford to lose.
- In payment difficulty, turn to free debt counselling, not a new loan.
Vertaislaina24 is a board that offers an opportunity and warns about the risks — for both sides, borrower and lender alike.
